This has allowed us to branchb into series pro- duction not only of disc springs but also of flat springs for new fields of application, for example exhaust systems for vehicles. Christian Bauer has succeeded in patenting several such innovative products over recent years. The company also offers unrestricted scope for the selection and machining of materials. The materials we are able to process range from customary spring steel through to high-strength titanium, including the whole spectrum of heat treatment processes. Another important area of the company’s activity is the manufacture of precision blanked compo- nents using machines with a force totalling 4000 kN. |

| Alongside jewellery and precision parts, the com- pany’s main turnover is generated with disc spring products. The company has been concerned with the devel- opment and production of disc springs since 1940. These products are used in just about every branch of industry – from disc springs for the humble domestic iron through to hightech products used in the aero- space industry. With the aid of finite element calcu- lations, CAD systems using the PROEngineer software for the design of three- dimensional parts, and a wellequipped laboratory for development and load cycle testing, we are ideally placed to find the ideal solution to our customers’ problems.
